Resumen de Modelo de evolución histórica de la flecha-barrera de Valdelagrana (bahía de Cádiz)

Valdelagrana spit-barrier, located in the northern portion of the Bay of Cadiz, presents more than 20 beach ridges developed in the Late Holocene. This work includes the compilation and summary of previous works made in the zone, as well as new data related to the radiocarbon dating of different ridges. An evolutionary model of morphological changes of the spit-barrier is presented, by which this sedimentary system has been affected by different marine high-energy events recorded in sedimentary deposits and also in the geometrical disposition of the ridges.
