In this paper, the 3D photo-reconstruction technique is presented and analyzed in order to produce high resolution point clouds and Digital Elevation Models of a road-scarp and two gullied areas. To do this, a collection of pictures taken from low-cost digital compact cameras in different dates is used. The resulting point clouds and DEMs allowed identifying, describing and quantifying the processes operating in each study area. The obtained RMSEs varied from 0.00 to 0.13 cm and DEMs with pixel sizes from 0.01 to 0.05 were elaborated.
