Resumen de La cientificidad de la investigación comunitaria en Latinoamérica: Percepciones criticas de sus investigadores/as

  Este trabajo buscó aproximarse exploratoriamente al estado de la investigación comunitaria en Latinoamérica,  en relación a sus criterios de cientificidad y de aporte al conocimiento de los territorios. La investigación buscó indagar en la tendencias epistemológicas y ontológicas de investigadores de lo “comunitario” en la región que provienen de distintas formaciones disciplinares, lo que podría sugerir cierta dispersión en la aplicación de estos enfoques. Los resultados indican una fuerte convicción de los y las investigadores/as por la capacidad de estas metodologías de aportar al conocimiento científico y ciertas divergencias respecto al rol transformador que estas presentan.

  This work sought an exploratory approach to the state of community research in Latin America, in relation to its criteria of scientificity and contribution to the knowledge of the territories. The research sought to investigate the epistemological and ontological tendencies of researchers of the "community" in the region who come from different disciplinary backgrounds, which could suggest a certain dispersion in the application of these approaches. The results indicate a strong conviction of the researchers for the capacity of these methodologies to contribute to scientific knowledge and certain divergences regarding the transformative role of these methodologies.
