  Son reflexiones sobre el arte como transmisor del gesto. El artículo se sitúa en una zona intermedia entre el uso o la negación de la mano en el arte último tratando de abarcar un punto de vista lo más amplio posible para indagar en el proceso y en el resultado final, la obra, y cómo esto ha ido determinando cambios no sólo en la consideración de la escultura, sino del arte en general. Desde el punto de vista de la docencia es muy sugerente la recopilación de testimonios de distintos artistas en torno al tema. La conclusión que puede extraerse es que cuanto más se aproxime el análisis a lugares de interés compartidos por artistas con concepciones muy distintas, más se abre la perspectiva del estudio. Es sólo una indicación para un estudio mucho más riguroso y extenso.

  They are reflections on art as a transmitter of the gesture. The article is set in an intermediate region between the use and the denial of the hand in art. Its point of view is widespread, embracing as many angles as possible in order to trace the process and the final result, the work of art, and how this has determined changes, not only in consideration of the sculpture but in general art. From the perspective of teaching, the collection of different artists’ testimonies on the theme is very suggestive evidence. The conclusion to be drawn is that the greater the proximity of the analysis to areas shared by artists with very different conceptions, the wider the perspective of the study. It is just an indication for a much more rigorous and extensive research
