    Este artículo tiene por objetivo mostrar la naturaleza de los subtextos en función del uso que han tenido y cuyo empleo puede servir de guía para encontrar nuevas soluciones dentro de la creación cinematográfica o ampliar el canal comunicativo. Para ello, se recurre a los estudios que se han hecho sobre subtexto y se ejemplifican los principales aspectos que lo construyen con base en criterios de tradición retórica clásica adaptados al ámbito fílmico. Se concluye que el subtexto colabora con los aspectos técnicos de un rodaje a fin de lograr mejores experiencias visuales y mejor calidad narrativa para el espectador.

    The objective of this article is to show the nature of the subtexts according to the use they have had and whose use can serve as a guide to find new solutions within cinematographic creation or to broaden the communication channel. For this, the studies done on subtext are used and the main aspects that build it are exemplified based on criteria of classical rhetorical tradition adapted to the film field. It is concluded that the subtext collaborates with the technical aspects of a shoot in order to achieve better visual experiences and better narrative quality for the viewer.
