Resumen de O mercado de transporte individual de passageiros analisado à luz do Direito Econômico: regulação, desregulamentação, planejamento urbano e proteção ambiental

  The Industrial Revolution represented a divisor in the evolution of history, transforming a characteristically agrarian society into a model based on industry and technology. Rising employment and investment in transport boosted trade and the consumer market. It is intended in this paper, from a doctrinal study, to verify the impacts of the individual transport sector, taking into competitive, regulatory, urban planning aspects and positive externalities to the environment. It is concluded that, with the globalization, there is no way to prevent the technological advances from integrating the market, but maintaining the primacy of competition and a fair and efficient market.

  A Revolução Industrial representou um divisor na evolução da história, transformando uma sociedade caracteristicamente agrária para um modelo baseado na indústria e tecnologia. O aumento do emprego e investimento em transportes impulsionaram o comércio e o mercado consumidor. Pretende-se, a partir de um estudo doutrinário, verificar os impactos do setor de transporte individual, levando em consideração os aspectos concorrenciais, regulatórios, de planejamento urbano e as externalidades positivas ao meio ambiente. Concluiu-se que, diante da globalização, não há como impedir que os avanços tecnológicos integrem o mercado, mas mantendo o primado da concorrência e um mercado justo e eficiente.
