El panóptico de Foucault en la sociedad actual: nuevos enfoques en el arte

    Desde los inicios de la humanidad hasta finales de la Edad Media, la imagen del universo reflejaba una visión teológica, para girar en torno al hombre en el siglo XVI. Con la llegada de la revolución industrial, de la concepción cíclica del tiempo propugnada por el Humanismo se pasa a la idea moderna de progreso. Por último, se produce la evolución de la sociedad disciplinaria organizada en torno a la fábrica como lugar cerrado y en la que el individuo sabe quien ostenta el poder, hasta la sociedad de control en la era tecnológica actual deslocalizada en empresas con individuos que tienen acceso a la información hasta cierto nivel. El hombre se sitúa en el panóptico y sabe que está siendo observado, convertido en una forma de entretenimiento voyeurístico y exhibicionista. La perversión del mundo informatizado en el que el optimismo ante la posibilidad de verlo todo, se contrapone al control de la información y a la vigilancia permanente. Esta deshumanización afecta también al terreno plástico, que pretende dar soluciones a través de un arte participativo con nuevos planteamientos, estéticas y soportes. Obras abiertas que deben ser ejecutadas, y no solo leídas.

    Since the beginning of mankind until the end of the Middle Ages, the image of the universe reflected a theological vision to turn around the man in the sixteenth century. With the advent of the industrial revolution, the cyclical conception of time advocated by humanism is passed to the modern idea of progress. Finally, there is the evolution of the disciplinary society organized around the factory as indoors and in which the individual knows who holds the power to control society's technological era delocalized in companies with individuals having access information to a certain level. The man stands at the panopticon and know you are being watched, become a form of entertainment voyeuristic and exhibitionist. The perversion of the computerized world in which optimism about the possibility of seeing everything, is opposed to information control and surveillance. This dehumanization affects the plastic field, which aims to provide solutions through a participatory art with new approaches, aesthetic and media. Open Works to be executed, and not just read.
