    Para la noción espacial, existen tres dimensiones: delante-detrás, arriba-abajo, izquierda-derecha. Y el concepto temporal está compuesto por el pasado, el presente y el futuro. En las lenguas del mundo es muy común que usemos los términos espaciales con el fin de expresar los conceptos temporales. En este estudio vamos a estudiar las manifestaciones lingüísticas de la metáfora EL TIEMPO ES ESPACIO de Lakoff (1980) en chino, en español y en inglés. Haremos comparaciones entre las expresiones espacio-temporales en estos tres idiomas para encontrar lo común y lo diferente entre ellos.

    For the spatial notion, there are three dimensions: front-back, up-down, left-right. And the temporal concept is composed of the past, the present and the future. In the worlds’ languages, it is very common for us to use spatial terms in order to express temporal concepts. In this study, we will study the linguistic manifestations of the metaphor THE TIME AS SPACE by Lakoff (1980) in Chinese, Spanish and English. We will make comparisons between spatio-temporal expressions in these three languages to find the common and the different between them
