    La biblioteca escolar es un centro dinámico de recursos para el aprendizaje que proporciona a los usuarios de la comunidad educativa, la información científica para la preparación, la investigación y solución de problemasque surgen en el proceso educativo. A su vez es un espacio donde se atesoran y protegen grandes volúmenes de información, que se registran en diferentes soportes, medios, artículos, revistas, libros, discos compactos,publicaciones electrónicas, informes de investigación y resultados científicos.Con la observación a diferentes actividades del proceso educativo, el resultado de visitas de inspecciones, especializadas en las escuelas primarias del municipio Ciego de Ávila, además de una minuciosa revisión bibliográfica, se constatan insuficiencias en el desempeño de los bibliotecarios escolaresparala socialización de resultados científicos en la escuela, deficienteidentificación de la socialización de resultados científicos como un proceso.La limitada preparación que posee el bibliotecario escolar de la socialización de resultados científicos en la escuela permitió caracterizar su desempeño en la actividad científica educacional a partir de establecer las particularidades de la socialización como proceso, las tareas a desarrollar, los conocimientos, las habilidades, las motivaciones y las actitudes para su aplicación en el área de desempeñopara la socialización. Se emplearon métodos de investigación: el histórico-lógico, analítico-sintético y la sistematización.

    The school library is a dynamic center of resources for learning that provides users of the educational community with scientific information for the preparation, investigation and solution of problems that arise in the educational process. At the same time, it is a space where large volumes of information are hoarded and protected, recorded in different articles, magazines, books, CDs, electronic publications, research reports and scientific results. With the observation of different activities of the educational process, the result of some visits, specialized in the elementary schools of Ciego de Ávila municipality, in addition to a complete bibliographical review, the following insufficiencies in the performance of the school librarians are found: limitedknowledge of the school librarian about the characteristics of the socialization of scientific results in the school, limitations in the identification of the socialization of scientific results as a process, insufficient knowledge, development of skills,motivations and attitudes for the socialization of scientific results in the school . The limited preparation that the school librarian possesses of the socialization of scientific results in the school allowed characterizing his performance in the educational scientific activity based on establishing the peculiarities of socialization as a process, the tasks to be developed, the knowledge, the skills, the motivations and attitudes for its application in the area of performance for socialization. Research methods were used: historical-logical, analytical-synthetic and systematization.
