Programas de intervención del maltrato infantil implementados en América Latina, un Estado del Arte entre 2013-2020

    El presente trabajo tuvo por objetivo presentar un Estado del Arte acerca de los programas de prevención e intervención del maltrato infantil implementados en países de América Latina cuyos reportes hayan sido publicados en el período 2013-2020. Siguiendo los lineamientos de investigación documental para la realización de Estados del Arte, fueron incluidos 10 estudios en los que se presentó información de 14 programas que se han llevado a cabo en Argentina, Colombia, Chile, México y Puerto Rico. Los hallazgos revelan que la intervención se dirige principalmente a niños en primera infancia y sus cuidadores primarios; así mismo, se encontró que el maltrato físico tiene el mayor foco de atención, propendiendo por el desarrollo de destrezas de crianza positiva. Es preciso fortalecer la evidencia científica que respalda las intervenciones dirigidas a mitigar uno de los problemas de salud pública que más afecta a esta región del continente.

    The objective of this work is to present a State of the Art on child abuse prevention and intervention programs implemented in Latin American countries whose reports have been published in the period 2013-2020. Following the guidelines of documentary research for the realization of States of Art, 10 studies were included in which information was presented from 14 programs that have been carried out in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Mexico and Puerto Rico. The findings reveal that the intervention is aimed primarily at early childhood children and their primary caregivers;

    Likewise, it was found that physical abuse has the highest focus of attention, tending towards the development of positive parenting skills. It is necessary to strengthen the scientific evidence that supports interventions aimed at mitigating one of the public health problems that most affects this region of the continent.
