  • A regression analysis of specific discharge is used to water resources assessment of the Sierra Nevada. The specific discharges measured were wide-ranging and correlated well with precipitation. The maximum and minimurr¡ values obtained were of 15 l/s/km2 far the Cenil basin (western third of the mountain range) and of 1 .5 l/s/km2 far the Andarax area (at the eastern end).

    The mean resources measured were of 550 hm3/yr, not including anthropic consumption within the limits of the Sierra Nevada ar groundwater runoff.
