    The legitimation of the judicial function depends also and ever more on the trust that the citizens have in the proper and correct behavior of their judges. A comparison between the reforms that have been adopted in other countries and in Italy shows that the efficacy and transparency of our disciplinary system would be better insured by reforms concerning the characteristics of our disciplinary code, the disciplinary procedures, the accurate monitoring of the proceedings and the participation of the citizens in the various phases of the disciplinary process

    La legittimazione della funzione giudiziaria dipende anche e sempre di più dalla fiducia che i cittadini hanno sulla correttezza dei loro comportamenti. Una analisi comparata tra le riforme che sono state adottate in altri paesi democratici e quelle adottate in Italia mostra come l’efficacia, e la trasparenza del nostro sistema disciplinare sarebbe meglio garantita da riforme che riguardano le caratteristiche delle regole di condotta giudiziaria, le procedure disciplinari, l’accurato monitoraggio dei procedimenti e la partecipazione dei cittadini alle varie fasi del procedimento disciplinare
