Resumen de As identidades da galeria do maletta no decorrer da sua história: um espaço de negócios, de luxo, de resistência política e de boemia

  Atualmente, a Galeria do Maletta constitui um dos espaços cotidianos de destaque na cidade de Belo Horizonte devido à concentração de diversos negócios que revelam histórias próprias associadas a uma história coletiva da galeria. O objetivo deste artigo foi analisar a (re)construção das identidades da Galeria do Maletta no decorrer de sua história. Como técnicas de coleta de dados, utilizamos a pesquisa documental, observações sistemáticas no cotidiano da galeria e das organizações investigadas e entrevistas semiestruturadas com os comerciantes que ali trabalham. Os dados coletados foram analisados por meio da Análise do Discurso. Desse modo, constatamos que a identidade do Maletta passou por diversas transformações no decorrer de sua história, sendo apreendida como espaço de luxo, de resistência política, de boemia, etc. Nessas construções, destacamos os usos de diversas ferramentas históricas e espaciais, como imaginários sociais pré-estabelecidos, nós, redes e a demarcação de fronteiras com o restante da cidade

  Currently, the Gallery of Maletta constitutes one of the everyday spaces highlighted in the city of Belo Horizonte due to the concentration of several businesses that reveal their own stories associated with a collective history of the gallery. The purpose of this article was to analyze the (re)construction of the identities of the Gallery of Maletta during its history. As data collection techniques we used documentary research, systematic observations in the daily life of the gallery and in the organizations investigated and semistructured interviews with the traders who work there. The collected data were analyzed through Discourse Analysis. In this way, we can see that the identity of the Gallery underwent several transformations in the course of its history, being perceived as a space of luxury, political resistance, bohemia, etc. In these constructions, we highlight the uses of various historical and spatial tools, such as pre-established social imaginaries, nodes, networks and the demarcation of borders with the rest of the city.
