Resumen de Arte e Pessimismo em “O Nascimento da Tragédia”

Taking Nietzsche's reflections in the “Essay of Self-Criticism” as a guiding thread, the article seeks to reflect on the relationship between art and pessimism, a relationship that, according to Nietzsche, constituted the puzzle and the fundamental problem of the Greek world. The relationship between tragedy and pessimism, conceived as "pessimism of strength", is the central issue of our study, here thought from the original tension between the artistic impulses of nature, the Apollonian and the Dionysian. Therefore, it is also necessary to think about the relationship between art and truth, between tragic thought and its dissolution by theoretical, Socratic-Platonic thought.

Tomando como fio condutor o que foi pensado por Nietzsche no “Ensaio de Autocrítica”, o artigo procura fazer uma reflexão sobre a relação entre a arte e o pessimismo, relação essa que, segundo Nietzsche, constituía o enigma e o problema fundamental do mundo grego. A relação entre a tragédia e o pessimismo, concebido como “pessimismo da força”, é a questão central do nosso estudo, aqui pensado a partir da tensão originária entre os impulsos artísticos da natureza, o apolíneo e o dionisíaco. Para tanto, também se faz necessário pensar a relação entre a arte e a verdade, entre o pensamento trágico e a sua dissolução pelo pensamento teórico, socrático-platônico.
