Resumen de Entrar en el cantar: la épica social en la poesía de Manuel Scorza

  La poesía de Manuel Scorza es pluridiscursiva. Su obra se puede clasificar en cuatro grandes discursos: del amor, de la amistad, surrealista y social. Este artículo se ubica en el último tipo y tiene como objetivo explicar la épica social representada en su poesía como una rebelión del pobre (wakch’a). Para este fin, consideramos como corpus fundamental los poemas que integran su libro Entrar en el cantar. Balada de la Guerra de los pobres (2018). Allí, observaremos cómo a través de cantos se convoca a los hombres del Perú y del mundo a entrar en el cantar, que significa ingresar al terreno de las confrontaciones para defender el honor de la vida; para ello, se destierra al temor y se lucha en contra de la injusticia y la opresión. Así, los poemas muestran una firme convocatoria simbolizada en un canto guerrero que carga, arde y enciende la cólera. Primero realizamos una contextualización temática dentro de su obra, luego nos centraremos en el poemario objeto de estudio para demostrar que en los poemas se encuentra representada una épica social del pobre.

  Manuel Scorza's poetry is multi-disciplinary. His work can be classified into four major discourses: love, friendship, surreal and social. This article is located in the last type and aims to explain the social epic represented in his poetry as a rebellion of the poor (wakch’a), for this we take as a fundamental corpus the poems that make up his book Enter the song. Ballad of the War of the Poor (2018). There we will observe how through songs the men of Peru and the world are summoned to enter into singing, which means entering the field of confrontations to defend the honor of life, for this they are banished from fear and fight against of injustice and oppression. Thus the poems show a firm call symbolized in a warrior song that charges, burns and ignites anger. First we will make a thematic contextualization within his work, then we will focus on the poems object of study, with this we will demonstrate that a social epic of the poor is represented in the poems.
