  La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar el nivel de compromiso social en los internos de las cinco escuelas profesionales de la Facultad de Medicina. El estudio es de enfoque cuantitativo, tipo descriptivo, transversal, el diseño es no experimental. La muestra estuvo constituida por 280 estudiantes universitarios. Se aplicó un cuestionario estructurado de tipo Lickert con 23 ítem divididos en 4 dimensiones. En cuanto al análisis estadístico, éste describió frecuencia, prevalencia, medias. Las variables cuantitativas se expresaron mediante medias y las cualitativas a través de porcentajes. Se concluye que el compromiso con los demás y con el entorno de los internos de las cinco escuelas profesionales de la facultad de Medicina es muy buena en las cuatro dimensiones.

  The present research aims to determine the level of social commitment in the interns of the five professional schools of the Faculty of Medicine. The study is of a quantitative approach, descriptive, transversal type, the design is non-experimental. The sample consisted of 280 university. A structured questionnaire of the Lickert type was applied with 23 items divided into 4 dimensions. Regarding the statistical analysis, it described frequency, prevalence, means. The quantitative variables were expressed through means and the qualitative ones through percentages. It is concluded that the commitment with others and with the environment of the interns of the five professional schools of the Faculty of Medicine is very good in all four dimensions.
