    En la ciudad de Lima, en la madrugada del 23 de agosto de 2012 falleció el arquitecto Juan Gunther Doering, cuando atravesaba un proceso posoperatorio. Con este breve texto intentaremos poner en relieve y recordar los méritos de una gran persona y un profesional profundamente comprometido con el patrimonio edificado de su país, especialmente el de su ciudad adoptiva, Lima.

    In the city of Lima, in the early morning of August 23, 2012, the architect Juan Gunther Doering died while undergoing a postoperative process. With this short text we will try to highlight and remember the merits of a great person and a professional deeply committed to the built heritage of his country, especially that of his adoptive city, Lima.
