    Las lesiones estéticas en el rostro son un tipo de lesión que afligen con mayor frecuencia a las mujeres dentro del contexto de violencia hacia la mujer por parte de su pareja. Existe un quebrantamiento a su derecho a la integridad física y corporal, así como un menoscabo a su identidad estética. Desde un enfoque legal y médico-legal, y con una metodología cuantitativa y cualitativa, el presente trabajo brindó un análisis puntual de los sujetos, medios, circunstancias y específicamente la figura del agravante, que rodean a este hecho delictivo. Se contemplaron además las diversas consecuencias que afectan en las esferas de la vida de la víctima, así como un señalamiento a cómo debe ser manejada la reparación al daño estético. Con este estudio, se pretendió dar luces al Legislador y constituir un presente investigativo sobre el trato diferenciado que se le debe dar a las lesiones estéticas en el rostro.

    Aesthetic injuries to the face are a type of injury that most frequently afflict women within the context of violence against women by their partner. There is a violation of their right to physical and corporal integrity, as well as an impairment of their aesthetic identity. From a legal and legal medicine approach, and with a quantitative and qualitative methodology, this work provided a specific analysis of the subjects, means, circumstances and specifically the figure of the aggravating factor, that surrounds this criminal act. The various consequences that they have in the spheres of the victim's life were also considered, as well as an indication of how reparation for aesthetic damage should be handled. With this study, the intention was to shed light on the Legislator and constitute an investigative preceding on the differentiated treatment that should be given to cosmetic injuries to the face.
