Resumen de Influencia de las crisis globales en la creación artística contemporánea. Segunda Guerra Mundial, Gran Recesión y cambio climático: antecedentes y contexto actual

El tema principal de nuestra investigación es la influencia que tres de las grandes crisis más recientes han generado en los artistas a la hora de concebir una serie de obra o un proyecto artístico. La aparición de estos períodos de dificultad como sujeto de representación se presenta como tema de análisis para algunos creadores a lo largo de los siglos XX y XXI, manifestándose de múltiples formas que inciden tanto en el contenido como en la forma. Muchos de estos episodios indican la condición cíclica de estos eventos si se analiza su aparición en la línea de tiempo. Las previsiones sobre el resultado de la tesis, están en exponer los antecedentes así como los tres hechos más relevantes en cuanto al contexto de crisis generalizada en nuestra sociedad como son la Segunda Guerra Mundial, la Gran Recesión de 2008 y el cambio climático. Sin duda, se trata de procesos sociales que han afectado a diversos artistas al acercarse a su obra, incluido el que se suscribe, para incluir este objeto de estudio como un elemento discursivo importante. Cada uno lo ha canalizado y posteriormente representado bajo su particular punto de vista, eligiendo el soporte más adecuado según su estilo o forma de expresarse. Si bien la producción personal ha sido muy importante en nuestro trabajo, no se coloca como tema principal sino como algo secundario que nos ofrece la oportunidad de hablar de nuestro trabajo, aunque sin hacerlo de manera explícita. Al tratarse de un proyecto relacionado tanto con la difusión como con el estudio de la práctica artística, hay que tener en cuenta la originalidad del tema sobre el que se ha publicado poca información porque en la actualidad muchos autores están creando a partir de él. Por ello, y con el fin de despertar el interés, busca expresarlo a través de un lenguaje accesible a la mayoría de la sociedad.

The main theme of our research is about the influence that three of the most recent major crises have generated on artists when conceiving a series of work or an artistic project. The appearance of these periods of difficulty as a subject of representation is presented as a subject of analysis for some creators throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, manifesting themselves in multiple ways that affect both content and form. Many of these episodes indicate the cyclical condition of these events if their appearance is analyzed on the timeline. The forecasts on the result of the thesis, are in exposing the antecedents as well as the three most relevant events regarding the context of general crisis in our society such as the Second World War, the Great Recession of 2008 and climate change. Undoubtedly, these are social processes that have affected various artists when approaching their work, including the one who subscribes, to include this object of study as an important discursive element. Each one has channeled it and subsequently represented it under their particular point of view, choosing the most appropriate support according to their style or way of expressing themselves. Although personal production has been very important in our work, it is not placed as the main theme but something secondary that offers us the opportunity to talk about our work, although without doing it in an explicit way. As it´s a project related to the dissemination as well as the study of artistic practice, the originality of the subject on which not much information has been published must be taken into account because at present many authors are creating based on it. As a result, and in order to arouse interest, it seeks to express it through a language accessible to the majority of society.
