In this paper it is presented a set of fortuitous findings that occurred in the 80s of the twentieth century in the southern area of Sierra Madrona, at the confluence of the provinces of Ciudad Real, Cordoba and Jaen. It is about five burial areas, in some cases associated with housing structures; although only three of these have been subject of some kind of archaeological intervention and the rest were plundered of old, new data are provided that contribute to complete the scarce information available on the rural world and its funeral culture in the transitional period of Late Antiquity in this studied area.
