    El artículo tiene como objetivo realizar un análisis económico y legal de las principales medidas de protección social de la población de Ucrania en el contexto de la pandemia COVID-19. Para lograr este objetivo se analizó el concepto de protección social e identificó sus herramientas; identificó regulaciones clave que determinan las características de la protección social en una pandemia de COVID-19, comparó los medios de protección social de los Estados miembros de la Unión Europea; Formuló propuestas concretas y fundamentadas para mejorar el nivel de protección social de la población en el contexto de la pandemia COVID-19.

    The article aims to carry out an economic and legal analysis of the main measures of social protection of the population of Ukraine in the context of the pandemic COVID-19. To achieve this goal it was: analyzed the concept of social protection and identify its tools; identified key regulations that determine the features of social protection in a pandemic COVID-19, compared the means of social protection of the Member States of the European Union; formulated concrete and substantiated proposals for improving the level of social protection of the population in the context of the COVID–19 pandemic.
