Resumen de O Cacique Ñheçu Às Vistas Da Literatura E Da História

  This article problematizes the forgeries and/or negative stereotypes about Indian people and the politic implications from the writers about the guarani cacique Ñheçu in the sixteenth century. We intend, from this, the construction of a dialectical text, based on the comparison of selected works for studies. We crave a careful verification, critical, and a possible resignification of the facts that surrounds the Indian we are studying. We seek to look through another angle how the figure of cacique Ñheçu is represented in the Brazilian literature: Os Três Mártires Rio-Grandenses, from the Jesuit Luis Gonzaga Jaeger. We also questioned the ambivalences and contradictions listed in the works nominated above, contributing to future researches, in view of the information scarcity about the Ñheçu cacique. The theoretical elements to support this discussion were: concepts of comparative literature, territorialization and decolonialism applied to religious and geopolitical works from the Jesuit mission.

  Este artigo problematiza as falsificações e/ou estereótipos negativos sobre povos indígenas e as implicações políticas acerca dos escritos sobre o cacique guarani Ñheçu no século XVII. Pretendemos a partir desta, a construção de um texto dialético com base na comparação da obra selecionada para estudo. Almejamos, a verificação cuidadosa, crítica e uma possível ressignificação dos fatos que rodeiam o indígena em questão. Buscamos olhar por outro ângulo como é representada a figura do cacique Ñheçu na literatura e na história brasileira na obra: Os Três Mártires Rio – Grandenses, do jesuíta Luis Gonzaga Jaeger. Também questionamos as ambivalência e contradições constantes na obra nominada acima, contribuindo então para futuras pesquisas, tendo em vista a escassez de informação acerca do cacique Ñheçu. Os elementos teóricos para embasar a presente discussão, foram: conceitos da literatura comparada, territorialização e decolonialismo aplicados às obras religiosas e geo-políticas das missões jesuíticas.
