Resumen de Transición Educativa hacia la Formación Inicial y Continua: Del Magisterio al Bachillerato

  La investigación se realizó sobre la transición educativa de las Escuelas Normales tradicionales, Instituto Normal para Varones de Oriente (INVO) e Instituto Normal para Señoritas de Oriente (INSO) con el cese de la carrera Magisterio de Educación Primaria e implementación-inicio del Bachillerado en Ciencias y Letras con orientación en Educación, del municipio de Chiquimula hacia la formación inicial y continua. La metodología utilizada: diseño de la investigación cualitativa, alcance descriptivo, método estudio de casos, técnicas entrevistas, grupos de discusión, grupos focales y como instrumento guía de entrevista. La población de estudio abarcó a los estudiantes del Bachillerato en Ciencias y Letras con orientación en Educación inscritos en los institutos en mención, docentes, autoridades, padres de familia y líderes comunitarios del municipio de Chiquimula. Se trabajó de forma censal con el cien por ciento de los estudiantes inscritos en cuarto y quinto Bachillerato, cien por ciento de los docentes, autoridades educativas, patronatos de cada centro educativo, líderes comunitarios La investigación se desarrolló tomando los años del 2015 al 2018. Los resultados muestran que tanto alumnos, padres y madres de familia, docentes, autoridades y líderes de la sociedad civil manifiestan su sentir unos a favor y otros en contra de esa transición educativa con desavenencias, inconformidades, huelgas de alumnos y docentes, deteniendo lo incontenible. Han pasado tres años, se han graduado las primeras cohortes, según reporte del Ministerio de Educación oscila entre 3,500 a 4,000 los estudiantes inscritos cada año en los bachilleratos de las escuelas normales. Con esto el Ministerio de Educación dio cumplimiento a una de las políticas educativas de los años 2012-2016, fortaleciendo la formación inicial, evaluación y gestión del Recurso Humano del Sistema Educativo Nacional y colocándose así al mismo nivel de los países centroamericanos y latinoamericanos en relación a la formación inicial y continua.

  The research was conducted on the educational transition of traditional Normal Schools, Normal Institute for Eastern Men (INVO) and Normal Institute for Ladies of the Orient (INSO) with the cessation of the Master’s degree in Primary Education and implementation-start of the Bachelor of Science and Letters with orientation in Education, from the municipality of Chiquimula towards initial and continuous training. The methodology used: design of qualitative research, descriptive scope, case study method, interview techniques, discussion groups, focus groups and as an interview guide tool. The study population covered the students of the Baccalaureate in Sciences and Letters with guidance in Education enrolled in the institutes in mention, teachers, authorities, parents and community leaders of the municipality of Chiquimula. Censal work was carried out with one hundred percent of students enrolled in the fourth and fifth Baccalaureate, one hundred percent of teachers, educational authorities, employers of each educational center, community leaders Research was developed taking the years from 2015 to 2018. The results show that both students, parents, teachers, authorities and civil society leaders express their feelings for each other against this educational transition with disagreements, nonconformities, student and teacher strikes, stopping the uncontainable. Three years have passed, the first cohorts have graduated, according to the report of the Ministry of Education ranges from 3,500 to 4,000 students enrolled each year in the high schools of normal schools.

  With this, the Ministry of Education implemented one of the educational policies of the years 2012-2016, strengthening the initial training, evaluation and management of the Human Resource of the National Education System and thus placing itself at the same level as the Central American and Latin American countries in relation to initial and continuous training.
