  • Resumen
    • This paper addresses the development of a stimulating educational experience focused on the incorporation of new learning strategies for the study of ancient painting practice, with special attention to the 16th and 17th centuries Spanish paintings. The educational experience is being developed through a teaching innovation project with the main aim of studying the ancient painting process from an eminently practical point of view. Associated with this goal, additional educational synergies have emerged. The learning process is optimized and educational resources are becoming more adapted to the behavioral habits of the new student generations. The project also aims to increase student involvement by combining old pictorial practices with new technologies for the development of a virtual learning content. Finally, the incorporation of an interdisciplinary work team from different educational levels – including teachers, graduates, students, and technicians- is assuming an inspiring experience of cooperative learning at the university environment.
