Interrelación entre los hiperónimos e hipónimos de los colores en español y en chino: Un análisis comparativo desde la perspectiva cognitiva dentro de las unidades fraseológicas

    Aunque hay muchos estudios sobre los valores connotados de los términos de color, pocos estudios se han centrado en la relación entre la connotación de los hiperónimos e hipónimos de los colores. Creemos que, siendo hiperónimos e hipónimos de los colores, es inevitable que entre sus valores connotados exista una relación hiponimia-hiperonimia. Sin embargo, aún carece de una investigación sistemática para afirmar si habrá otra relación o no. Además, dado que el español y el chino pertenecen a familias lingüísticas totalmente diferentes y ambos poseen culturas milenarias, la intersección entre los valores connotados de los hiperónimos e hipónimos de los colores es un tema que merece ser investigado. Este estudio recoge una gran cantidad de unidades fraseológicas relacionadas con hiperónimos e hipónimos de los colores, seleccionados en 26 diccionarios de español y 20 diccionarios de chino respectivamente, y basándonos en estos datos realizamos un estudio comparativo. Los resultados del estudio permiten extraer las siguientes conclusiones: 1) Entre los valores connotados de los hiperónimos e hipónimos de los colores, a parte de una notable presencia de relación hiponimia-hiperonimia, también hay mucha relación sinónimo y antónimo. 2) Puede que un valor connotado de algún hiperónimo solo exista en un solo idioma, pero no afecta que los hipónimos en la otra lengua deriven valores hipónimos relacionados, así como también valores similares u opuestos. No cabe duda que entre estas dos comunidades lingüísticas tan distintas, la comprensión y el uso de los hiperónimos e hipónimos de los colores coexistan similitudes y diferencias. A través de este análisis exhaustivo de los casos idiomáticos, nos permitirá comprender mejor las similitudes y diferencias entre estos dos idiomas desde una perspectiva cognitiva.

    Although there are many studies about the connoted values ​​of colour terms, few studies have focused on the relationship between the connotation of hypernyms and hyponyms of colours. We consider that, being these hypernymous and hyponymous of colour, it is inevitable that a hyponymy-hypernymy relationship exists among its connoted values. However, there’s still a lack of systematic research to confirm whether there will be another type of relationship or not. What’s more, since Spanish and Chinese belong to totally different linguistic families and both have millennial cultures, the intersection between the connoted values ​​of hypernyms and hyponyms of colour is a topic that requires investigation. This study collects a large number of phraseological units related to hypernyms and hyponyms of colour selected from 26 Spanish dictionaries and 20 Chinese dictionaries respectively, and a comparative study has been elaborated based on these data. The results of this study have led us to the following conclusions: 1) Among the connoted values ​​of the hypernyms and hyponyms of colour, apart from the noticeable presence of a hyponymy-hypernymy relationship, there is also a remarkable of synonym and antonym relationship. 2) A certain connoted value of some hypernyms may only exist in one language, but it does not affect to the fact that hyponyms in another language derive related hyponym values, as well as similar or opposite values. There is no doubt that between these two very different linguistic communities, similarities and differences coexist in the comprehension and use of hypernyms and hyponyms of colour. Through this exhaustive analysis of phraseological units we will be allowed to understand better the similarities and differences between these two languages ​​from a cognitive perspective.
