  In recent years, the number of tools to reinforce the decision-making process has expanded, it is necessary to establish basic requirements for effective information management. The theme of this work focuses on information management in the Ombudsman's Office of the Environment Secretariat of Aracaju (SEMA) and its general objective is to promote information management in the SEMA's Ombudsman based on process analysis. Therefore, the specific objectives were: a) to examine the relationship of the ombudsman within the organizational structure of SEMA; b) map the informational flow of the SEMA ombudsman; c) verify the convergence of SEMA's ombudsman with LAI. The methodology used in this work is descriptive in nature, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, characterized as a case study. There was a bibliographic review, while data collection was carried out through an interview. It was concluded that the ombudsman of this body needs to make adjustments to meet the recommendations of the Federal Comptroller General. It was also observed that the type of manifestations that discriminate against environmental crime, the location and the period of the year can serve as input for decision making, promoting effective information management in this environment.

  Nos últimos anos, ampliou-se o número de ferramentas para reforçar o processo decisório, faz-se necessário estabelecer requisitos básicos para uma gestão da informação eficaz. O tema desse trabalho volta-se para a gestão da informação na Ouvidoria da Secretaria de Meio Ambiente de Aracaju (SEMA) e tem como objetivo geral promover a gestão da informação na Ouvidoria da SEMA a partir da análise de processos. Para tanto, os objetivos específicos foram: a) examinar a relação da ouvidoria dentro da estrutura organizacional da SEMA; b) mapear o fluxo informacional da ouvidoria da SEMA; c) verificar a convergência da ouvidoria da SEMA com a LAI. A metodologia utilizada neste trabalho é de natureza descritiva, com abordagem quali-quantitativa, caracterizando-se como um estudo de caso. Houve uma revisão bibliográfica, enquanto coleta de dados foi realizada a partir de entrevista. Concluiu-se que a ouvidoria deste órgão necessita efetivar ajustes para atender as recomendações da Controladoria Geral da União. Observou-se, ainda, que a tipologia das manifestações que discrimina o crime ambiental, a localidade e o período do ano pode servir de insumo para a tomada de decisão, promovendo uma efetiva gestão da informação nesse ambiente.
