    En la primera mitad del siglo xviii nos encontramos a Andrés Clemente y su familia trabajando en la ciudad de Alicante. Una ciudad que poco a poco se recuperaba de la guerra de Sucesión. Andrés Clemente y sus herederos ostentaron el título de "Impresor de la Ciudad", lo que llevó a este pequeño taller a trabajar durante casi dos décadas al servicio del Ayuntamiento
