  • The Caprinae skeletal remains identified in Alto de las Picarazas Stratum IVb, corresponding to a middle section of the Lower Pleistocene, are presented. The morphological features that lead us to consider these remains as belonging to the genus Capra and to attribute them to the species Capra alba. The remains are described and compared to other records of Caprinae in Lower Pleistocene deposits of the Iberian Peninsula.
