At the end of 50’s during the 20TH century, a sustained urban growth of the city of Querétaro began. This was due to industrialization, which happened to be the main factor forsocio-economic growth in the state and also the principal aspect in the urban development that turned this city into a metropolis. Within the expansion of the metropolitan zone, ancient towns located in the periphery have been integrated, as it is the case of Santa Rosa Jáuregui. The functional integration of the population of this town is analyzed through changes in territorial mobility and consuming practices concerning three cohorts: grandfathers-grandmothers, fathers-mothers and sons-daughters
