    O presente artigo dedica-se aos estudos de slams e saraus realizados na periferia da cidade de São Paulo. Em especial, serão destacadas as vozes das mulheres negras que se expressam nesses espaços. O objetivo desse estudo é analisar as linguagens poética, oral e corporal das performances que compõem as apresentações, assim como ressaltar nessas manifestações sua relevância cultural, além de mostrar a importância dos saraus e slams como meios de transformação social através da cultura e da arte marginal periférica.

    The present article is dedicated to the studies of the poetry slams and saraus taking place in the outskirts of São Paulo city. In particular, the voices of the black women that express themselves in these environments will be highlighted. The objective of this study is to analyze the poetic, oral and body language of the performances that make up the presentations, as well as to emphasize in these manifestations their cultural relevance, besides showing the importance of saraus and poetry slams as means of social transformation through culture and marginal art.
