Resumen de A Formação em Administração e o Dualismo Conceitual teoria-prática no Brasil

  O debate recente acerca do distanciamento entre teoria e prática na formação do administrador desperta a inquietação central deste ensaio teórico. Existe certa posição de estranhamento diante da situação de limitado reconhecimento das Escolas de Administração no mundo, e no Brasil em particular, em que Lima e Wood Jr. (2014) afirmam que os benefícios da ciência administrativa no Brasil são desconhecidos e talvez insignificantes. Diante de tal problemática, o objetivo deste trabalho é avaliar o modo como a pesquisa em administração vem abordando o dualismo conceitual teoria-prática na formação dos seus membros e egressos. Nesse hiato pode residir o fato de não estar havendo a transformação fundamental, ou se estiver, pode não estar recebendo o empenho necessário por abarcar a nova concepção acerca da imbricação teoria-prática.

  The debate about the growing gap between theoretical andpractical knowledge in the management training of Managersarouses the central concern of this theoretical essay. It is assumed a certain position of strangeness in view of the situationof limited recognition of Business Schools in the world, inBrazil in particular, where renowned researchers warn aboutthe low relevance of our research. In view of this problem, theobjective of this theoretical essay is to reflect the relationshipbetween research in Administration and the developmentof Administration as a professional training, considering thediscussions involving the conceptual dualism theory-practicein the training of its members and graduates. As provocationsthere seems to be an institutional shift that is present betweenthe research and teaching practices in Administration, withits own logics that do not seem to privilege the production ofknowledge applied to the national socio-historical dynamics,needing to think about the production bases of such knowledge, its logic of legitimation in search of a specific knowledgeof the Administration.
