This article aims to analyze the figurations of the feminine in the contemporary lyric of Lívia Natália. Afro-Brazilian literature of female authorship has revealed itself, as a fertile ground that allows the analysis and reflection of a series of deconstructions, erasures and tensions about the secular narratives that populate our imaginary and that have built a role and a place of woman. Claiming for itself, a prominent place in the contestation of the norms and paradigms that, for a long time, underpinned patriarchal society, the contemporary black lyric of female authorship, focuses - so that it can be framed - on insurrections, insurgencies and insubmissions of black women and all the issues that challenge these women. In this sense, Lívia Natália's poetry focuses on solitude, the decolonization of affection, afrocentric relationships and the dissonant representation of the feminine. It is a poetry that stages the demands of its time, without neglecting lyricism, as it understands that the structures of language, alongside politics, constitute the contemporary field of power. The theoretical assumptions coined by Alzandúa (2000), Beauvoir (1960), Butler (2017), Hooks (1995), among others, are based on our research.
