    A nivel mundial se ha generalizado laconcientización de individuos y estados sobre la necesidad e importancia del cuidado y preservación del ambiente.El sector turísticocubano, atemperadoconlas tendencias internacionales y los Lineamientos del Partido para el período 2016-2021,ha priorizadola sostenibilidad ambientalen su sistema de trabajo. Consecuentemente,se hace necesaria una gestión ambiental eficiente en las instalaciones hoteleras del Destino Turístico Jardines del Rey, para lo cual es importante el conocimientode sus directivos.Por estas razones, empleando el método sistémico-estructural y la consulta a especialistas, sepropone una estrategia, que utiliza indicadores que evalúan la gestión ambiental de la instalación hotelera, para el conocimiento ambiental de los directivos.Se demostró que la propuesta promueve los conocimientos ambientales necesarios para que se desarrolle una gestión ambiental responsable, preservando el ambiente, y haciendo sostenible la actividad turística.

    At world level it has be generalized the become aware of individuals and states on the necessity and importance of the care and preservation of the environment. The Cuban tourist sector, moderated with the international tendencies and the Limits of the Party for the period 2016-2021, it has prioritized the environmental sustainability in their work system. Consequently, it becomes necessary an efficient environmental administration in the hotel facilities of the Tourist Destination Jardines del Rey, for that which is important the knowledge of their directive. For these reasons, using the systemic-structural method and the consultation to specialists, is intended a strategy that uses indicators that evaluate the environmental administration of the hotel installation, for the environmental knowledge of the directive. It was demonstrated that the proposal promotes the necessary environmental knowledge so that a responsible environmental administration is developed, preserving the environment, and making sustainable the tourist activity.
