El cáncer, junto con todo lo que conlleva, genera una gran carga en el paciente y su familia. En el ámbito de la oncología el dolor es uno de los elementos más estudiados y que, a su vez, más preocupa a pacientes y profesionales.
Por ello, resulta interesante profundizar en el concepto del dolor, estudiarlo, concluir que existen diversos factores que van a aumentar o disminuir el mismo y que, teniéndolos en cuenta, va a ser posible un mejor abordaje.

Cancer, along with all that it entails, places a great burden on the patient and his family. In the field of oncology, pain is one of the most studied elements and that, in turn, is of greatest concern to patients and professionals.
Therefore, it is interesting to delve into the concept of pain, to study it, to conclude that there are many factors that will increase or decrease it and that, being aware of it, a better approach will be possible.
