La crisis del pensamiento urbano normalizado, un llamado a su ruptura a través de la creatividad

    Este artículo discute la conferencia: "Pensar la ciudad del mañana es un gran desafío paradójico” extrapolándola al contexto latinoamericano y africano. Para lo cual, primero se exhibe la riqueza del intercambio de ideas entre los autores, resaltando también el llamado del profesor Bourdin a buscar nuevas herramientas de pensamiento urbano. Luego, se apela a la ruptura de la hegemonía de las ideas mostrando la incidencia del pensamiento normalizado en los citados continentes, revelando también las tres restricciones que nos impiden pensar la ciudad del futuro.Consecutivamente, se desarrollan algunas propuestas para ir más allá de la normalización que se refieren al uso de la imaginación; finalmente, se presentan algunas conclusiones que apelan a un cambio inminente en el rumbo del pensamiento académico, haciendo un llamado a los investigadores para que asuman el riesgo público de emitir criterios.

    This article deals with the conference: "Thinking about the city of tomorrow is a great paradoxical challenge" by extrapolating it to the Latin American and African context. For which, first the richness of the exchange of ideas between the authors is exposed, also highlighting the call of Professor Bourdin to research new tools of urban thought. Then, we appeal to the rupture of the hegemony of ideas, showing the incidence of normalized thinking in the aforementioned continents, also revealing the three restrictions that prevent us from thinking about the city of the future.Subsequently, some proposals are developed to go beyond standardization which refers to the use of the imagination. Finally, some conclusions are presented which call for an imminent change in the course of academic thought, calling on researchers to assume the public risk of issuing criteria.
