  Chico Buarque de Hollanda, one of the greatest Brazilian artists with in-ternational recognition, is a true craftsman of words, and is so in the sense of constructing meanings and searching for the right word and calling attention to its essence through the affirmation of the value of the word, which is more than an instrument of communication because it is a way of experiencing thought, as he says. Through a comparative approach, one realizes that the theological process acts on the same conviction because it also builds meanings for the words that make up its universe. In this way, besides precision and grammatical accuracy, theology also takes into high consideration the updating of meanings and the recognition of the value of the word. Moreover, it is not because it re-cognizes that the incarnation of the Word of God in Jesus is not only a form of communication, but also a way for God to dwell in the world of human beings and, because of this view, to make it possible for human beings to perceive ways of living in the world of God.

  Chico Buarque de Hollanda, um dos maiores artistas brasileiros e com reconhecimento internacional é, em sua arte, verdadeiro artesão das palavras no sentido de construir significados na busca da palavra certa, mesmo se diferente, e também de chamar a atenção para a realidade da dignidade da palavra, que é, no seu dizer, mais que instrumento de comunicação pois é forma de habitar o pensamento. Através de procedimento comparativo, percebe-se que o fazer teológico possui a mesma convicção porque também constrói significados para as palavras que compõem seu universo. Dessa maneira, além da exatidão e do cuidado gramatical, também a teologia tem em alta consideração a atualização de significados e o reconhecimento da dignidade da palavra. Mais não fosse, pelo fato de afirmar na fé que a encarnação da Palavra de Deus em Jesus é forma não apenas de comunicação, mas uma maneira de Deus habitar o mundo dos seres humanos e, por esse viés, possibilitar que também o humano perceba maneiras de habitar o mundo de Deus.
