    A fin de complementar el conocimiento existente sobre la presencia en la Península Ibérica y Baleares de las tres especies incluidas actualmente dentro del género Myrmechixenus Chevrolat, 1835 (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae, Diaperinae), se dan a conocer datos adicionales procedentes de trabajos antiguos reiteradamente omitidos en artículos recientes.

    In order to supplement the existing knowledge on the occurrence in the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearics of the three species so far included within the genus Myrmechixenus Chevrolat, 1835 (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae, Diaperinae), additional data from ancient papers repeatedly disregarded in recent articles are presented.
