Resumen de Stenus (Hypostenus) solutus Erichson, 1840, nueva especie para la fauna ibérica (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Steninae)

  Se cita por primera vez Stenus (Hypostenus) solutus Erichson, 1840 (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Steninae) para la fauna ibérica, tras el estudio de doce ejemplares del Alto do Acevo (Lugo, Galicia). Se representa su distribución geográfica. Se incluyen fotografías de caracteres exclusivos y se compara su edeago con esquemas de otros autores. Se comentan sus preferencias ecológicas y biológicas por humedales. En la misma localidad también se han recogido otras doce especies de Stenus Latreille, 1797, de las cuales cuatro constituyen primeras citas para Galicia y una para España.

  Stenus (Hypostenus) solutus Erichson, 1840 (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Steninae) is reported for the first time for the Iberian fauna, after the study of twelve specimens from Alto do Acevo (Lugo, Galicia). Its geographical distribution is represented. Photographs of exclusive characters are included and its aedeagous is compared with diagrams by other authors. Its ecological and biological preferences for wetlands are discussed. Twelve other species of Stenus Latreille, 1797 have also been collected in the same locality, of which four are first records for Galicia and one for Spain.
