    La importancia que ha adquirido el tema de la sostenibilidad en el mundo empresarial, ha hecho incrementar los esfuerzos, y recursos no solo en promover dichas prácticas, sino también implementarlas en sus empresas, entre ellas Walmart México, ha sido líder en la implementación de energía renovable, y esto ha hecho que mejore sus niveles de competitividad,  ya que aunque la inversión en este tema es alta, también se ha logrado reducir los costos, por iniciativas sustentables, lo anterior se vuelve más interesante, cuando lo podemos relacionar con una teoría tan completa, como lo es la de las tres dimensiones de la sostenibilidad, en la cual los esfuerzos de una empresa, se reflejan en el bienestar social, ambiental y económico; el presente trabajo se desarrolló mediante una reflexión de artículos relacionados en el tema e información interna de la empresa.

    The importance that the issue of sustainability has acquired in the business world has increased efforts and resources not only to promote these practices, but also to implement them in their companies, including Walmart Mexico, which has been a leader in the implementation of energy. renewable, and this has made it improve its levels of competitiveness, because although the investment in this issue is high, it has also managed to reduce costs, for sustainable initiatives, the former becomes more interesting, when we can relate it to a theory as complete, as is that of the three dimensions of sustainability, in which the efforts of a company are reflected in social, environmental and economic welfare; the present work was developed through a reflection of related articles in the subject and internal information of the company.
