    La nueva pandemia por el virus SARS-CoV-2, se ha convertido en una amenaza para la población mundial, y ha llevado al límite a los sistemas sanitarios. Este virus no solo afecta al sistema respiratorio, sino que también causa deterioro sobre otros sistemas como el vascular, renal y el sistema nervioso. Respecto a este último, las manifestaciones neurológicas y sus complicaciones han ido teniendo más relevancia en los últimos estudios, llegando a reportar un incremento de casos con el Síndrome de Guillain-Barré (SGB) y una posible asociación causal con el Covid-19.

    The new pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus has become a threat to the world population, and has pushed health systems to the limit. This virus not only affects the respiratory system, but also causes deterioration on other systems such as the vascular, renal, and nervous system. Regarding the latter, neurological manifestations and their complications have become more relevant in recent studies, reporting an increase in cases with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) and a possible chance association with Covid-19
