In this article, we will analyse how the animal characters are created in the Juan Pedro Aparicio’s Short-Short Story Collections, La mitad del diablo (2006), El juego del diabolo (2008) and London Calling(2015). Likewise, we will demonstrate the rhetorical similarities between the Shor-Short Story and the Fable, and how this is assimilated and changed by the Microfiction, in order to create a very short text characterized by its fragmentation, the irony, the ex-centric narrative and the Open-ended structure. This kind of Flashfictions propose the rejection of the anthropocentric viewpoint of the Fable.
