Resumen de Identificación de necesidades de cuidados paliativos en pacientes oncológicos: una revisión sistemática.

  Objetivo.identificar las necesidades de cuidados paliativos en pacientes oncológicos: una revisión sistemática Materiales y métodos. Se realizaron consultas en las bases de datos Scient direct, Dialnet, Scielo, Ovid y Medes, delimitando los artículos sin límite detiempo. La búsqueda fue realizada en el mes de marzo del año 2020 utilizando la ecuación de búsqueda “Evaluación de Necesidades AND Cuidados Paliativos AND Neoplasias, con búsquedas tanto en español como en inglés. Resultados.Se encontró un total de 2142estudios de los cuales se excluyeron 2129, para un total de 13 artículos incluidos para la lectura crítica, al finalizar la lectura se descartaron 5 estudios, y finalmente se realizó la revisión sistemática con 8 artículos, donde la poblaciones presentabaun promedio de edad entre (79 –83) años, siendo predominante el sexo femenino con 64%, como diagnostico principal se obtuvo el cáncer gastrointestinal, siendo el dolor el síntoma más prevalente, considerando los antecedentes patológicos como necesidades de los pacientes la administración de quimioterapia, la analgesia y el apoyo emocional son los principales requerimientos del paciente para así brindarles una mejor calidad de vida. Conclusiones.Se evaluaron las necesidades de cuidados paliativos en pacientes oncológicos, encontrando que la analgesia y el apoyo emocional son los principales requerimientos del paciente.

  Objective. To identify the palliative care needs in cancer patients: a systematic review.Materials and methods.Queries are sought in the Scient direct, Dialnet, Scielo, Ovid and Medes databases, delimiting articles without time limits. The search was performed in March 2020 using the search equation “Assessment of needs and palliative care and neoplasms, with searches in both Spanish and English. Results.A total of 2142 studies were found of which 2129 were excluded, for a total of 13 articles included for critical reading, at the end of the reading 5 studies were discarded, and finally the systematic review was carried out with 8 articles, where the populations had an average age between (79-83) years, the female sex being predominant with 64%, gastrointestinal cancer was obtained as the main diagnosis, pain being the most prevalent symptom, having the pathological history as the needs of the patients. administration ofchemotherapy, analgesia and emotional support are the main requirements of the patient in order to provide them with a better quality of life.
