    Se analizan los condicionamientos teóricos y técnicos que han impulsado la utilización de fibras metálicas como refuerzo de los materiales refractarios. Se describen algunas de las limitaciones derivadas de la posible oxidación en caliente de las fibras, así como los diferentes tipos existentes.

    An analys is made of the theoretical and technical conditionings that have impelled the utilizing of metallic fibres as reinforcement of refractory materials. Some of the limitations derived from the possible oxidation in hot of the fibres are described together with the different types existing.
