Resumen de Uso e cobertura da terra em assentamento na região semiárida de Sergipe

  In the present study, the land use and cover mapping and the calculation of the landscape ecologymetrics of the Jacaré-Curituba settlement, located in the northwest of Sergipe, were carried out. For the mapping, an image from the Gaofen-2 satellite (high spatial resolution) from 2018 was used, which allowed us to obtain eight classes of land use and cover. Landscape ecology was carried out using Fragstat software on forest fragments. The result showed that the Jacaré-Curituba settlement presents its forest cover well preserved, however the small and medium class fragments are fragmented. Theclassification of the satellite image, carried out in the Qgis 3.4 software, showed that at least 30% of the Permanent Preservation Areas (APP) are anthropized despite the reforestation projects that are carried out in the settlement. It was also identified that anthropic agriculture activity corresponds to the main use of land and coverage of the area; the pastures are lower than those observed in the semi-arid region, which may have been induced by the prohibition of the practice of livestock in this settlement. In this context, it was evidenced that the implementation of the Jacaré-Curituba settlement in this area allowed for more sustainable agricultural production and greater protection of the remnants of the Caatinga forest.

  No presente estudo foram realizados o mapeamento do uso e cobertura da terra e o cálculo das métricas de ecologia da paisagem do assentamento Jacaré-Curituba, localizado no noroeste de Sergipe. Para o mapeamento, foi utilizada uma imagemdo satélite Gaofen-2 (alta resolução espacial)do ano de 2018, permitindo a obtenção de oito classes de uso e cobertura da terra. A ecologia da paisagem foi realizada por meio do software Fragstat nos fragmentos florestais. O resultado demonstrou que o assentamento Jacaré-Curituba apresenta sua cobertura florestal bem preservada, entretanto os fragmentos da classe de tamanho pequeno e médio estão fragmentados. A classificação da imagem de satélite, realizada no software Qgis 3.4, demonstrou que pelo menos 30% das Áreas de Preservação Permanente (APPs) está antropizadaapesar dos projetos de reflorestamento realizados no assentamento. Identificou-seainda que aatividade antrópicaAgricultura corresponde ao principal uso e cobertura da terra da área;já as pastagens são inferiores ao observado na região semiárida, o que pode ter sido induzido pela proibição da prática da pecuária neste assentamento. Neste contexto, ficou evidente que a implantação do assentamento Jacaré-Curituba nesta área permitiu uma produção agropecuária mais sustentável e uma maior proteção dos remanescentes florestais da Caatinga.
