    The synaxaries mention Anthusa, daughter of the emperor Constantine V; no other source speaks of this princess. Born in 756/757, she became a nun during the patriarchate of Tarasius (784-806) and became Superior of the Homonia monastery, all traces of which are lost. She died in 808/809 and was canonized after the end of iconoclasm. Despite the lack of information, everything suggests that she was a historical person.

    Trois synaxaires mentionnent Anthoussa, fille de Constantin V, dont aucune autre source ne parle. Née en 756/757 elle est devenue moniale sous le patriarcat de Taraise (784-806). Elle est morte en 808/809. Supérieure du monastère de Homonias, dont toute trace est perdue, elle est canonisée après la fin de l’iconoclasme. Malgré l’absence d’informations tout porte à accepter qu’il s’agit d’une personne historique.
