Evaluación del impacto económico generado por la creación del Área de Conservación Regional Angostura Faical en sus centros poblados, periodo 2010-2015

    La investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar los impactos económicos que ha generado la creación de la ACR Angostura Faical en sus centros poblados, durante el periodo 2010 -2015. El tipo de investigación fue descriptivo, con diseño no experimental y retrospectivo, y para la recolección de datos, se utilizó una guía de observación y en segundo lugar un cuestionario dirigido a los pobladores del área de influencia entre los distritos de Matapalo, Pampas de Hospital, y San Juan de la Virgen del Departamento de Tumbes. Los resultados sobre la evaluación de los impactos económicos muestran un impacto positivo total de 11.1%, con una frecuencia absoluta de 754 participaciones que no garantizó el crecimiento ni desarrollo de los centros poblados, un impacto normal o indiferente de 74.5% con 5,076 participaciones, y un impacto negativo es de 14.4% con 980 participaciones. Es decir que los impactos económicos fueron normales o indiferentes, evidenciando que, si bien se desarrollaron algunos planes de negocios, estos no generaron sostenibilidad, por lo consi-guiente los ingreso y el resto de actividades se mantuvieron igual que al inicio, aun cuando la zona de estudio presenta las condiciones favorables para desarrollar diversas oportunidades de actividades sostenibles como servicio de guiado, alimentación, hospedaje; alquiler de acémilas, binoculares, y por último venta de artesanía y productos del bosque; que conllevarían a mejorar las condiciones de vida de los pobladores.

    The research aimed to evaluate the economic impacts generated by the creation of the Angostura Faical ACR in its popu-lated centers, during the period 2010-2015. The type of research was descriptive, with a non-experimental and retrospec-tive design, and for data collection, an observation guide was used and, secondly, a questionnaire addressed to the inhab-itants of the area of influence between the districts of Matapalo, Pampas de Hospital, and San Juan de la Virgen from the Department of Tumbes. The results on the evaluation of the economic impacts show a total positive impact of 11.1%, with an absolute frequency of 754 participations that did not guarantee the growth or development of the populated centers, a normal or indifferent impact of 74.5% with 5,076 participations, and a negative impact is 14.4% with 980 shares. In other words, the economic impacts were normal or indifferent, showing that, although some business plans were developed, they did not generate sustainability, therefore income and the rest of the activities remained the same as at the beginning, even when the area of study presents the favorable conditions to develop diverse opportunities of sustainable activities like guide service, food, lodging; rental of mules, binoculars, and finally sale of handicrafts and forest products; that would lead to improving the living conditions of the inhabitants.
