Las reseñas que se encuentran sobre juegos tradicionales entre los documentos parroquiales y notariales pertenecientes a la Comarca del Jiloca, han supuesto una gran fuente de información para la investigación de los juegos tradicionales, abarcan los siglos XVI, XVII y XVIII y en ellas encontramos principalmente prohibiciones eclesiásticas. La información que nos trasmiten, nos permite confirmar la existencia de juegos tradicionales que se practicaban, datando su antigüedad. Esta información corrobora los recuerdos de nuestros mayores, cuando nos hablan de los juegos a los que jugaban en sus pueblos. Al poder documentarnos que se practicaban muchos años antes de que ellos nacieran, se afianza la idea de la importancia del juego tradicional en la vida de todas las personas que habitan en la Comarca del Jiloca, como patrimonio inmaterial de su cultura y cómo se ha trasmitido de generación en generación.

The references on traditional games found on notarial and parochial documentation of the Jiloca County, have been a great source of information very useful for investigation on the topic. They cover the XVIth, XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries and are mainly ecclesiastical prohibitions. The information they provide us with allows us to confirm traditional games existed and shows how ancient they are too.
This information mentioned bears out the memories of local ancient people who often speak about those games they used to play in their villages. Thanks to the possibility of proving they were practiced long before the elderly was born, the idea that states traditional games were significant for all Jiloca County inhabitants, that they are intangible cultural heritage and that they have been transmitted generation after generation is highly reinforced.
