La inteligencia artificial aplicada a los robots trae consigo una innegable revolución tecnológica y supone un desafío de enorme calado a la Ciencia Jurídica, que deberá reformular algunas de sus instituciones con el fin de dar respuesta a las múltiples problemáticas y puntos críticos que de ella se deducen. En este estudio se abordan los más sobresalientes: la necesidad de un marco legal basado en principios y valores actualizados al contexto de la “sociedad digital”, la configuración de un “estatuto de los robots”; la responsabilidad civil por los daños que estos causen y su impacto en la protección de los contenidos creados por estas máquinas. Todos ellos requieren una respuesta dinámica de nuestro Derecho, desde una doble perspectiva, ética y evolutiva.

The artificial intelligence applied to robots carries an undeniable technological revolution and implies a challenge of enormous relevance for the Juridical science, which will be obliged to restate some of its institutions in order to be able to answer the multiple problematic and critical points that derive from it. This study analyses the most outstanding: the need for a legal framework based on principles and values updated to the context of the “digital society”, the configuration of an “robot’s statute”; the civil liability arising form the damages caused by them and its impact in the legal protection of the intellectual content this machines can create. All of them require a dynamic response from our Law, from a double perspective, both ethic and evolutionary.
