    Partiendo de documentación encontrada en el Archivo Histórico Municipal de Úbeda se descifra definitivamente la autoría de la reja de la capilla Dorada de la catedral de Baeza en la persona de Nicolás Pérez, rejero ubetense que realiza una importante labor en Ubeda y su comarca esencialmente en el primer cuarto del siglo XVII.
