    El presente trabajo tiene por objeto primordial ofrecer una breve información sobre la importancia de la "obligación" como instrumento de crédito marítimo-terrestre y, por tanto, como fuerza dinamizadora de la actividad mercantil en la doble acepción marítima y terrestre en algunas villas costeras del Principado en el siglo XVIII.

    Precisar la importancia del crédito como realidad histórica. La canalización de las aplicaciones del capital. La evolución y las vicisitudes del crédito. Los deudores y acreedores. Los intereses y la posible usura de los mismos

    The fundamental theme of the present work is to offer a short informativ communication about the importance of the "Obligation" as an instrument of maritime-terrestrial credit and therefore as dynamic strength of comercial activity as much maritime as terrestrial in sorne coas tal villages of Asturias in the eighteenth century. The object is also to make precise the importance of credit as an historical reality; it is also to channel applications of the capital; to explain about the debtors and the lenders, about the interest and usury of it.
